“This poem follows directly from the previous Hu Allah release. Where there is the praise of Allah, there is the praise of his beloved Habib صلى الله عليه وسلم .
The poem focuses entirely on praising Rasool’allah and His blessed attributes, whilst acknowledging that He صلى الله عليه وسلم was sent as a mercy to mankind.
The first verse signifies the poem written by Sayyiduna Hassan bin Thabit in which he describes the beauty of the Rasool.
He wrote:
Wa Ahsanu Minka Lam Thara Qatun Aini
Wa Ajmalu Minka Talidin Nisa’
Khuliqta Mubarra An Min Kulli Aibin
Ka Annaka Qad Khuliqta Kama Tashaa’
It is the last line:
Ka Annaka Qad Khuliqta Kama Tashaa’
Which the writer translates by saying ‘You were created Flawless as if by your own design’.
The poem is composed with a modest, traditional and Sufi approach. The instruments used, are a compilation of Eastern and western influences which I feel befit the poem.
